Brand marks are arguably the most valuable asset alongside people and innovation. Integration of business operations and values, with the interest of all stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, the community and environment are reflected in the company's policies and actions. As fervent brand stewards, we take the business of risk mitigation and brand protection, extremely seriously, and this starts at the factory level, with quality control and social accountability.

CHILD LABOR POLICY

LegacyHistoryPride strictly adheres to a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of underage labor. If underage labor is discovered at any manufacturing location, production is immediately shut down until a third-party inspection confirms new processes, procedures and adherence to this policy. Per the Manufacturer's Agreement, LegacyHistoryPride may subject factories to random checks to verify compliance with the zero-tolerance child labor policy.

VALUE STATEMENT

In providing high-quality and stylish apparel, LegacyHistoryPride conducts business with integrity and does what's right for our customers and for each other. Employees are expected to act lawfully, honestly, ethically, and in the best interests of the company. We should be accountable for actions, treat others fairly, be transparent, and use good judgment in everyday decisions. We understand that actions, words, and behavior, matter. We understand trust and respect among employees and customers, is the foundation of success. We pride ourselves on delivering great products and customer service. All communications with customers should increase their trust in us. This Code applies to everyone in the company, from production to upper management, and all employees are responsible for understanding and complying with this Code and all LegacyHistoryPride policies. We rely on everyone's judgment to uphold a high standard of integrity for the company and ourselves.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We foster an inclusive work environment, and do not tolerate discrimination based on age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, or any other characteristics protected by law.

The company does not tolerate harassment of any kind, including but not limited to sexual harassment, threats or bullying, unwelcome conduct, name calling, stereotyping, offensive gestures, or damaging the physical property of others.

The company prohibits retaliation against any worker who reports or participates in an investigation of a possible violation of the Code.

The company is committed to preventing workplace violence and maintaining a safe work environment, and has zero tolerance for workplace violence. Employees are encouraged to make suggestions about ethical concerns at any time.

 

DATA PRIVACY

LegacyHistoryPride is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. The company's Privacy Policies address our commitment to collecting, storing and using their information. We handle the storage, access, and transfer of personal information in accordance with all applicable laws.

 

MEDIA

We encourage employees to be careful when discussing the company on social media. Employees are not to speak on behalf of the company on personal social media accounts, and should always keep in mind confidential company matters, such as product offerings or any other sensitive company information.

 

SUPPLY PARTNERS

Our quality control and social accountability policies are strictly enforced. Before production can begin with any overseas manufacturer, LegacyHistoryPride thoroughly inspects and checks partner factories to ensure all regulations are up to code. Each and every factory must comply with local labor laws and social compliance standards, without exception. A factory audit is conducted at each new factory prior to orders being placed, and factories are subject to random inspections to confirm compliance with child labor laws. Records are checked regarding hourly workweeks and overtime. Prison labor is not allowed at LegacyHistoryPride factories. If housing is provided, factories are required to maintain clean, adequate living facilities for workers. Manufacturing areas are required to be clean, well-ventilated and well-maintained. Factories are required to have proper fire safety equipment and clear, well-marked exits.  Additionally, evacuation plans and employee safety training is confirmed. If violations are identified, the company acts in accordance with international labor standards.

All factories are required to meet the criteria of the LegacyHistoryPride manufacturing code of conduct. All factories must comply with local laws and LegacyHistoryPride-mandated requirements. The manufacturing facility and any provided housing must be clean, safe and well-maintained. Proper fire safety equipment, exits and training are required. The Code of Conduct is contained in the signed Manufacturer's Agreement. Additionally, the LegacyHistoryPride team takes both quality assurance and quality control very seriously and have rigorous processes to prevent nonconformity. LegacyHistoryPride differs from our competition because of the level of resources we commit to these initiatives. QA/QC enforcement for overseas manufacturing and importing is spearheaded by LegacyHistoryPride's Import Team in China. All goods must comply with and/or exceed the requirements in force at the time of testing in the region(s) that the product will be sold. Such requirements may include, but are not limited to: ASTM, CPSC, UL (ETL), CHPA, AZ/NZS, ISO 8124, International, European Standards and Individual State Requirements. 

 

SOCIAL COMPLIANCE & LABOR STANDARDS

We are also a fully accredited member of the Fair Labor Association (FLA), an internationally recognized non-governmental organization (NGO), whose goal is to advance labor rights globally and to help industry appropriately address a range of complex issues – including the eradication of forced and slave labor across the supply chain. Our work with the FLA, has proven valuable in our efforts to ensure that all of our vendors are compliant with our own standards and relevant international norms. 

LegacyHistoryPride realizes that forced labor and human trafficking can occur in many forms – such as child labor, workplace harassment, workplace abuse, and workplace discrimination. Therefore, our processes were created in an effort to eradicate such unethical practices in all its variants.

LegacyHistoryPride is committed to this code of conduct. We hold our vendors to these same high standards.
