Legacy Designer Program: A creative opportunity designed to connect HBCU student designers with LHP through a collaborative design experience. HBCU Student designers will submit their portfolio, creative background, and select an existing LHP product such as a jacket, crewneck, rugby, jersey, or accessory to reimagine through their own creative lens.

Selected participants will officially join the program and receive brand resources, creative guidance, and project deliverables to support the development of their final design concepts.

Throughout the program, every selected designer will be featured and credited across LHP platforms, providing valuable exposure, recognition, and the opportunity to showcase their work to the broader LHP community.

One winning design will be selected by the LHP team and awarded a book grant (amount TBA). The winning designer will also have the opportunity to collaborate with LHP to further develop and refine their concept as an official collaboration for our 2027 collection.

Should the design move forward into production, the winning designer will receive additional financial compensation, official designer credit, complimentary product from the final release, and recognition across LHP marketing, campaign, and storytelling initiatives.

LHP will not move forward with the production, commercialization, or use of any submitted design, including the winning design, without the express written approval and consent of the participating designer.

This policy is intended to protect the intellectual property and creative rights of all participants, ensuring that student work remains the property of its creator unless otherwise agreed upon through a formal collaboration and compensation agreement.
