The Divine 9 Legacy Continues...

I remember like it was yesterday. I was probably 9 years old at the time. I was in the car with my family, but we were stuck in traffic by Morehouse College. I looked out the window to see what and why the car wasn’t moving, and that’s when I saw these men in the middle of the street with purple and gold shirts with Omega Psi Phi written across their chest, strolling.

While Divine 9 - Black Greek Letter Organizations are more than just strolling, this story is an illustration of the rich PRIDE and spirit of Divine 9 organizations. Organizations that have shaped members into acting and thinking unapologetically in their blackness while promoting  scholarship, service, and the true meaning of brotherhood/sisterhood. These organizations have played an integral part in African American history and our culture as they consist of a lengthy list of leaders who have exemplified the meaning of Excellence -- Black Excellence at that.

LegacyHistoryPride strives to provide products that exhibits and honors HBCUs and Black Culture. There was no hesitation that we wanted to share the Divine 9 story through the lens of fashion by creating products for a community that continue to “lift as you climb” for the past 100+ years. My team and I have been working tirelessly to design and develop products that resonate with ALL of the Divine 9 organizations. Certain fraternities/sororities often are underlooked and we want to make sure that we can provide a light on Divine 9 as a whole as  ALL Black greek letter organizations have contributed to the Legacy, History, and Pride of Black Culture.

So, if you do not see your fraternity/sorority on our website, just know we are in the lab working. We put a lot of thought and time into the detail of our designs and product to properly match the standard of excellence these organizations hold.
