To start in the spring or summer semesters, you need at least a 2.85 GPA, but to start in the fall, you need a 3.0 GPA. If your GPA coming out of high school is too low, there’s also a transfer program that allows you to attend another school within the state of Florida, get 60 college credits, and then transfer to FAMU with a GPA that averages at least 2.0.
