  • Sweaters
  • A Statement coat

  • Sweatshirts
  • 3-4 pair casual shorts
Other Good College Essentials

While not necessarily part of your everyday wardrobe, there are a few other must-haves we feel need to be included. Don't forget your:

  • Umbrella
  • Bathrobe
  • Slippers

Personal hygiene supplies: deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, skincare items, soap, shampoo, razors, hair care products.

  • Dorm mattress topper
  • Dorm bedding and sheets
  • Earplugs
  • Alarm clock
  • Towels
Laundry items: hangers, laundry basket, laundry soap

Make sure to consider balancing your wardrobe with what you can afford, what you have space to pack, and ensure you have clothing that is ultimately very comfortable to wear. You'll no doubt be facing long hours of classes and spend a lot of time walking the campus, which will be much easier to do when you're not struggling with itchy clothes and ill-fitting shoes.
